    I have been diagnosed with RBD and Parkinson’s Disease. I started on NOW Dopa Mucuna to help to increase my dopamine levels in my brain as a DAT scan had show very reduced levels and output from my right brain hemisphere. While waiting for a prescription for Levadopa I decided to try to supplement with Dopa Mucuna. I found that this has helped to reduce RBD episodes and helped with the “on” feeling missing from some many PD sufferers. While I don’t have an excess of motor movement symptoms I do suffer from both pain and insomnia along with focus, concentration and memory deficits. I also have a down feeling most of the time due to the lack of dopamine (the happy juice) in my brain. I have noticed improvements in all of these areas. Now that I have been prescribed Sinemet which also includes Carbidopa, which help to get the dopamine into the blood steam I expect to see even greater improvement and uptake as I am continuing NOW Dopa Mucuna with my Sinemet dosing!
